Education Rally for 2268/3730

We in education support work deserve better!

Let’s stand in solidarity with locals 2268 and 3730 as they continue to face difficult bargaining with Greater Saskatoon Catholic School Board. With no acceptable offer on the table, nearly 1000 workers have voted for a near 90% approval of strike action if required.

We get it… rallies may not be everyone’s cup of tea… but our own local 4254 will be returning to the table in April to start monetary discussions and may face similar unfair offers.

👉 If you aren’t able to walk alongside 2268/3730 consider sending a letter to Greater Saskatoon Catholic School Board urging them to come back to the table with a fair deal. https://cupe.ca/gscs

👉 BUT if you feel the urge to get out there alongside 2268/3730 come on down and join in for the rally!

Solidarity in Action!

Our local reached out to our fellow CUPE siblings, locals 2268 and 3730 to remind them they are not alone. Bargaining is tough, exhausting, and deeply personal and we stand with every Education Support Worker fighting for respect, fairness, and strong schools across Saskatchewan.

Truth and Reconciliation

🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Today we pause to reflect, learn, and honour survivors of residential schools, their families, and the children who never made it home.

This day is a reminder that reconciliation is not just about one day of recognition, it’s about a lifelong commitment to truth, justice, and action.

We encourage everyone to take time to listen, learn, and engage with Indigenous voices and histories. Whether it’s attending a local event, wearing orange to show solidarity, or taking time for self-education, every step matters.

🧡 Every Child Matters. 🧡
