Lynda Down – Venture Height Elementary
We are proud to celebrate Lynda Down as our incredible Member of the Month for April 2026!
For 24 years, Lynda has dedicated her heart and talents to Venture Heights School as an Education Associate and as a valued leader in their After School Program. Her commitment and consistency over more than two decades have made a lasting impact on generations of students and families.
She brings a wonderful sense of humour to each day, paired with deep wisdom, empathy, and understanding. She has a remarkable ability to truly connect with every child she works with, meeting them where they are and helping them grow with patience and care.
What makes Lynda especially special is the way she shares her knowledge, humbly, respectfully, and across a variety of settings. Whether in the classroom or after school, she leads with heart and ensures every child feels seen, supported and valued.
Thank you Lynda for 24 years of dedication, compassion and positivity. We are lucky to have you as part of our CUPE family!
